Erin Barker, James Rupprecht, and Debra Carter all noticed how our existing onboarding process did not adequately welcome and make our new Jayhawks feel at home. A combination of Finance and IT team members created a new onboarding process that combines resources, tours, and even peer connections to welcome our new team members. Part of the program suggestions are to bring remote employees to campus to connect with their teams. This will put them in a better situation to succeed and feel like they are part of the Jayhawk community.
