Our Program is About You
This program is really about you! Your ideas matter. We want your efforts to be recognized and rewarded.
Our intention is to partner with all of our campus partners to create meaningful change as we continuously improve. To aid in our efforts we have put together a recognition and rewards program.
Idea Submission Reward
Who does not love swag? We believe you should be rewarded for your ideas. Once you submit an idea, you will receive a survey request from our partners at the KU Bookstore to choose your shirt and let them know your size. Once it is ready to pick up at our KU Memorial Union bookstore location, you could take advantage of the 20% off Jayhawk Apparel and gifts perk we have as faculty and staff.This t-shirt is our Fiscal Year 2025 version and created in partnership with KU Marketing.
Project Participation Rewards
When you participate in a project to implement a solution, you will have an opportunity to get one of our limited edition "My Ideas Matter" Jayhawks Elevate polos. We understand how much effort and work implementing change takes. Our hope is these polos will serve as a badge of honor and help build an agents of change community. In an effort to build a healthier community at KU, Jayhawks Elevate is working to get you all the recognition you deserve. We not only want you to be heard but also recognized for your willingness to own the issues you see.
Jayhawks Elevate recognition:
Within one business day of the submission of an idea, we will reach out to confirm our receipt of the idea and thank you for your submission. In addition, we let you know what to expect next and give you a digital token of gratitude for your participation in Jayhawks Elevate.
Your department recognition:
Once we send confirmation to you about receiving your submission, we will also let your supervisor know about the idea you submitted. We do this to be transparent with our partners and encourage your supervisor to recognize your efforts.
Public recognition
When your ideas are resolved and result in changes we want our campus to know about it. We will have a quick summary wrote up and published as one of our success stories on the Jayhawks Elevate website. We want you and the team who helped take the idea across the finish line to get all the credit for the work you've done. It is our hope that others will be inspired by your willingness to See It, Own It, Solve It, Do It.
