SSC HR Physical Location Change
Connie Jordan, McKenzie Henderson, and Mandy Czerniak from SSC highlighted the inconvenience of the HR location in Strong Hall. The HR onboarding location has been moved to Carruth O’Leary, providing better accessibility and parking.

New employees or existing employees who need to visit HR will have improved accessibility and parking options.
Blake Hall Parking
Professor Zhang could see Blake Hall's parking lot was under utilized every day while he and other faculty/staff had to park and walk. He suggested rezoning Blake Hall to a Blue lot to better serve the building. With the empowerment of our Parking Commission, Blake Hall was rezoned within 3 months of Professor Zhang's suggestion.

Food Trucks on Campus
Angie Loving identified a need for more food options on campus and suggested bringing Food Trucks to campus. This resulted in a pilot program launched in April 2024. Based on participant feedback the Food Truck pilot was determined as a success and a recommendation to KU Dining was made to create a permanent program beginning the 2024-2025 academic year.
